OUR TOWN EXHIBITION

Made in Ross invites local artists and makers to submit original 2D and 3D works for the exciting ‘OUR TOWN’ Exhibition, to be held at the Market House in March 2027.
We are seeking up to 20 artworks that capture what you love about Ross-on-Wye. The exhibition will reflect the affection and inspiration that artists draw from the town. Selected works will be shown in a dedicated exhibition space alongside the Made in Ross Gallery for one month (March 19th-April 18th 2027)
All selected entrants will also have their work featured in a bespoke online gallery here on the Made in Ross website.
Visitors to Made in Ross will be invited to vote for their favourite pieces, with the top three artworks receiving special recognition and promotion.
Submission Details
• Maximum size: A3 for 2D works; 3D works must fit within an A4 box shape
• Medium: All 2D and 3D media welcome (all work must be exhibition ready – ready to hang/display)
• Eligibility: Open to adults aged 16+ who live near and love Ross-on-Wye
• Number of works selected: Up to 20
• No application fee
• Initial entries: Digital image submission (see below)
• Art work must be delivered in person
Work can be made available for sale. However, any purchases must be arranged directly with the artist (Made in Ross will not handle any sales). Sold work can be collected after the exhibition ends but not before.

Timeline
• 1 September 2026: Open for online applications
• Midnight 5 February 2027: Application deadline
• 12 February 2027: Artists notified of selection
• 12 March 2027: Final deadline for delivery of selected works to Made in Ross (deliveries to be made during gallery opening hours March 5th-March 12th)
• 19 March – 18 April 2027: Exhibition dates
Our Town reflects Made in Ross' commitment to supporting local creativity, fostering community pride and celebrating the character of Ross-on-Wye through art.
Delivery Requirements
All selected artworks must be delivered ready for exhibition and clearly labelled. Each artwork must include:
• Artist name
• Title of artwork
• Sale price (if applicable)
This information must be securely attached to the artwork or its packaging and match the details provided in the application form.
Artworks must be suitably packaged and delivered to the gallery in person (we recommend Stiffy Bags for packaging framed artwork)
