I’m Mike, and in May 2019, after facing a personal breakdown, I found my way back to healing through the love and support of my family, an incredible GP, and the therapeutic power of woodwork. The Humble Woodshed was born from this journey, reigniting my passion for carpentry and transforming it into a key part of my recovery.
Crafting with wood, one of nature’s most beautiful creations, has been a true source of joy for me. But what makes it even more special is sharing that joy with you, our valued customers.
At The Humble Woodshed, every piece I create is inspired by the natural characteristics of the wood itself. The unique grain patterns and shapes of the timber guide my designs, resulting in one-of-a-kind pieces. Over time, I’ve also incorporated resin into my work, adding a modern touch that enhances the natural beauty of the wood.
