Made in Ross is 10 Years Old! Members of Made in Ross celebrating our 10th Anniversary To celebrate our 10th Anniversary, Made in Ross held a party for our members, past members and supporters on Saturday May 10th, followed by a free community art day underneath the historic Market House on Sunday May 11th. Some of our very talented makers demonstrated their techniques and invited members of the public to "have a go" at activities such as decorating a ceramic tile, making a pom-pom or an animal face mask or casting an acorn in pewter. The sun shone for us and it was a very enjoyable weekend for all! The images below show Jackie Poulter, our chairperson, demonstrating the art of casting with pewter to create beautiful pewter acorns
