Are you a local artist in the Ross-on-Wye area looking for a supportive community of like-minded creatives and a place to sell your work?
Made in Ross is normally situated upstairs at the Market House, the historic and artistic focal point of Ross-on-Wye. While the Market House is being renovated, we are currently located upstairs in a light, airy space at the Corn Exchange (above Tourist Information, between Rossiter Books & The Kings Head pub) but will be moving back to the Market House in the coming months.
As a member of our cooperative, you'll have access to a stunning gallery space, opportunities to be involved in local art festivals, and resources to support you in selling your work.
Whether you're just starting out or are an established artist/maker (2D or 3D), we welcome your application to join our cooperative. Members are recruited based on the quality of their work and a willingness to commit to an active role in our group. This does involve regular stewarding shifts at the gallery (full training given) and attending occasional meetings too, as well as helping with tasks behind the scene to ensure the smooth running of the gallery.
As a member of our co-operative, you will benefit from:
• A gallery space with low commission rates
• Opportunities to showcase your work in local art-trail events and exhibitions.
• Networking and collaboration opportunities
• Access to workshops and a supportive environment
• A community of creative, like-minded individuals
If you require more information you can download the following factsheet (pdf) or alternatively come and pay us a visit (open daily 10am-4pm)
