Arts in the Marches - Frances Warren
After thirty years working in social housing I took the opportunity for a career break to study at Hereford College of Art and Design. I was hooked and haven’t looked back since!
Initially I combined my love of arts with my organisational skills, and ran a number of fundraising h.Art events in my village. The network I was quickly building amongst the wonderful artists in and around Herefordshire lead me to establish Arts in the Marches in 2013. Arts in the Marches is an arts company offering a range of support and activities for artists and people interested in art; including:

I was delighted to be invited to be a founder member of the Made in Ross collective, where I represent a number of local artists who for various reasons are unable to join the collective in their own right. In the current Made in Ross exhibition I am displaying work by artists that compliments that of our members, including:
- Alan Richardson - driftwood sculpture
- Marie Seton - watercolours
- Stephen McRae - blacksmith
In addition to this I am gradually developing and exhibiting my own sculptures, specialising in work for the garden. I run regular workshops (stone carving, willow sculptures and silver jewellery) please click this link Arts in the Marches for further information.
